Project Description
The client needed to analyze datasets in Excel related to Airbnb reservations to make recommendations on Airbnb & Homeaway Pricing and a minimum length of stay requirements. And also just to answer ad hoc questions I have.
The client needed extremely detail-oriented recommendation following business problems:
For places with 5+ bedrooms or 16+ guests
- Provide a summary by reservation ID of the total amount of each reservation, the length of stay in nights, and the total amount paid for each reservation.
- Make a recommendation based on 2019 data for the minimum length of stay I should require for this Thanksgiving, Xmas, and NYE. Defend your recommendation.
The client is operating dozen-plus cabins listed at Airbnb and the HomeAway in the Smoky Mountains, USA.
